Changing of the Seasons

Supplies:

Tube of choice. I am using the artwork of Gina King. You can get this image at http://cdoestore.com/

Scrap Kit Simply Thankful by Mirella you can get this kit at http://acreativespacebetween.blogspot.co.uk/

Mask of choice. I am using

Font of choice.

Plugins : Xero Radiance & Penta Dot and Cross

Lets Begin:

Open element 28 and shift +d to duplicate.
Close the original.
Resize to a nice workable size for your tag.
This is going to be your frame.
Use your freehand selection tool set to freehand and draw around your frame using parts of the wood you want to include.
Layers new raster layer and drag under your frame.
Open paper 3 and resize.
Copy and paste into selection on your new raster layer on the bottom.
Open your tube and if you have a closeup use that at this step if not then you can always enlarge your tube to make it look like a closeup.
Copy and paste as a new layer and position in your frame.
Go to selections invert and hit delete to clear any tube left hanging out.
Selections select none.
On your tube layer apply Xero Radiance at the default settings.
Apply the Penta Dot and Cross at the default settings.
Change the layer properties to Luminance Legacy.
Lower the opacity of this layer to 40.
Add a slight drop shadow.
I used Vertical- 3 Horizontal- -1 Opacity-75 Blur- 8.50 Color brown from the frame.
Add the same drop shadow to the frame itself.
Open element 21.
Resize first by 58%.
Go to image flip horizontal or image mirror.
Now copy and paste as a new layer.
Resize so that the bow goes from side to side of your frame and looks like it is wrapped around the branches of the frame.
Use your eraser tool if you need to remove bits.
Add a drop shadow.
At this point open your tube again and copy and paste your main tube as a new layer and position to the left hand side of the frame.
Add a drop shadow.
Open element 27.
Resize by 63% and then again by 25%.
Copy and paste as a new layer and position in the middle of your bow.
Add a drop shadow.
Open element 30.
Resize by 35% and then again by 20%.
Copy and paste as a new layer.
Go to image rotate free rotate and rotate by 17 degrees to the right.
Image sharpen.
Move under your flower but above your bow and place so its on the bottom left of the flower.
Add a drop shadow.
Open element 39.
Resize by 87%.
Now using a font of your choice place some text on this wooden sign.
Change the property of the font layer to soft light or whatever you feel looks good.
Merge the font and sign layers together.
Resize again by 25%.
Copy and paste as a new layer.
Image rotate by 17 degrees to the left.
Image sharpen
Move to the lower right of your flower and make sure it sits under your flower and berries layer.
Add a drop shadow.
Open paper 6.
Resize and copy and paste as a new layer.
Drag to the bottom.
Apply the mask of your choice.
Delete the mask layer and merge the group
Add a drop shadow to the mask.
Lower the opacity of the mask layer to 60.
Add your name. I chose to put mine on a vector layer around the frame but this is up to you.
Add your copyright information and crop and save.
