Surfs Up

Supplies:

Tube of your choice. I am using the artwork of Ted Hammond. You can get his tubes athttp://cdoestore.com/

Scrap kit is At The Beach by Chachaz Designz. You can get this kit at http://scrapsandthecity.com/store/

Template is template # 150 by Horseplays Pasture. You can get it at http://horseplayspasture.blogspot.com/


Font of your choice. I used a pixel font for the surfs up text and a different font for the name.

Brushes of your choice.

Lets Begin:

Open your template and shift+D to duplicate. Close the original.
Remove the creators layer and the white background.
Merge square 1 and square 2 layers together.
Selections select all float and defloat.
Add a new raster layer.
Flood fill with a color from your tube.
Keep selected but delete the original square layers.
Add a new raster layer and make sure it is above the layer you just filled with color from your tube.
On this new layer apply brushes of your choice. When you are happy selections select none.
Merge your brushes and color layer together.
Add a slight drop shadow.
Make your rectangle layer active and selections select all float and defloat.
Open paper 3 and resize by 60%.
Copy and paste as a new layer.
Selections invert and hit delete. Selections select none.
Delete the original rectangle layer.
Add a slight drop shadow.
Delete the lines layer.
Add a slight drop shadow to the glitter circle layer.
Make the circle layer active and selections select all float and defloat.
Add a new raster layer.
Open paper 4 copy and paste into selection.
Delete the original circle layer.
Leaving your circle selected open your tube and copy and paste as a new layer.
Place your tube so some is in the circle and the rest is hanging out.
Go to selections invert and using your eraser erase bits of the tube that are hanging out of the circle. When you are happy selections select none.
Add a drop shadow to the circle with the waves and your tube.
Open element 33 and resize by 60%. Copy and paste as a new layer and move to the left side of the tag. Add a drop shadow.
Add a new layer and drag to the bottom.
Flood fill with the color you used to fill the squares at the beginning.
Apply the mask of your choice.
Using your pixel font place surfs up text on the top and bottom edges.
Add your name.
Add your copyright information.
Crop, resize and save.
