Underwater Queen 2
written 7/14/2013

Supplies:

Tube of your choice. I am using the artwork of Jehsee. I got this tube at DSI. Sorry not sure where to get her work now.

Kit is a freebie by Inzpired Creationz. It is called Deep Blue. You can get it athttp://inzpiredcreationzfreebiez.blogspot.com/?zx=22574adace9bd774

Mask of your choice However the tut is going to look like mine if you use the mask I am using which is Vix mask 451. You can get it athttp://www.freewebs.com/vixpsp/masks.htm

Font of your choice.

Animation I got from Love Shack. Animating is optional but you can get the animation I used athttp://loveysshack.blogspot.com/search/label/Animations?updated-max=2011-07-06T05:44:00-04:00&max-results=20&start=22&by-date=false

Lets Begin:

Open paper 6 from the kit.
Duplicate the paper by pressing shift +D.
Close the original.
Now promote the paper layer from background to layer.
Now leaving it the same size and not changing or moving anything apply the mask.
This works best if you are using the mask I am using.
Delete the mask layer and merge the group.
Now open your tube and copy and paste as a new layer and position where you want.
Open the jellyfish and resize by 60%.
Copy and paste as a new layer and place in the window area of your tag and move it to the left.
Add a slight drop shadow to help it stand out. I used
1
-1
60
2.00
color black
Add noise by going to adjust add/remove noise and add some noise at 55%.
Open ribbon 3 and flip horizontal.
Resize by 60%.
Copy and paste as a new layer and drag under your tube.
Move to the bottom left of your window area and add a drop shadow.
Open sea plant 3 and resize by 75%.
Copy and paste as a new layer and drag under your tube.
Move to the right side of the frame.
Add a drop shadow.
Duplicate and move this duplicate down and to the left a bit.
Open seashell 2 and resize by 60% 2x.
Copy and paste as a new layer and move to the lower left of tag.
Add a drop shadow.
Open the chest and resize by 50% 2x.
Copy and paste as a new layer and move to the lower left.
Drag under the seashell and add a drop shadow.
Open anchor1 and resize by 30%.
Copy and paste as a new layer and move to the left in front of the chest.
Add a drop shadow.
OK now we are going to place some text on the tag and I chose to do mine on a circle around the frame so that is the way I am going to explain this.
Set your foreground color to black and your background color to null.
Set the width to 2.00.
Using your preset shape set on elipse draw a circle around the frame area of your tag.
I make mine just slightly larger than the frame.
Position it where you want to and then go to your text tool.
Choose the font your are going to use and instead of your font being set on vector set it to floating.
Now move your mouse over to the circle and you will see that it will turn to a T with a line that looks like a smilie under it. Once you see that click and start typing.
Your text should follow the path of your circle.
You may have to play with it a few times to get the right size and position.
Once you are happy go over to your layer pallette and click on the layer and promote to layer.
Selections select none.
Delete the vector circle layer.
Add a drop shadow to your text.
Add your name and copyright information.
If you are not going to animate then crop and save.
If you are going to animate then come along with me. :)
Hide your background/paper layer.
Merge all the other layers visible and hide both layers now.
Add a new raster layer and drag it to the bottom.
Flood fill with white.
Unhide just the background/paper layer.
Edit copy/merged.
Open PSP and right click and paste as a new animation.
Open your animation and take note of the number of frames that are in it.
The one I am using has 29 frames.
Now you must duplicate the tag you just brought into animation shop to match the number of frames in your animation.
Edit select all in both your animation and your tag.
Make sure you are on frame 1 on both your animation and your tag.
Click on your animation and drag it to the frame one of your tag and place where you want. DO NOT LET GO UNTIL YOU ARE READY.
You might have to do this a few times to get it right.
I placed mine at the top in the center of the frame.
Back to PSP and unhide the layer that has the rest of your tag on it.
Copy that layer and go to animation shop and right click and paste as a new animation.
Duplicate this again to the same amount of frames you have.
Then select all and drag to your frame 1 of your tag with the animation.
Again don't let go until you have it placed.
Use your text that goes around the frame as a guide.
View your animated tag.
If you are happy you can resize if needed.
Optimize and save.
