Kiss From A Rose

Kiss From A Rose
written 5/3/2016

This tutorial is meant purely as a guide. Feel free to make your tag unique by using your own choice of tube and scrap kit. If you want your tag to look just like mine then use the same supplies I have used. This tutorial assumes you have a knowledge of paint shop pro. Any resemblance to any other tag or tutorial is purely coincidental.

Supplies Used:

Tube by Barbara Jensen. You can purchase it at

Beautiful scrap kit by Amy Marie. It is called Roses are Red. You can purchase it at

Mask of your choice. I am using mask #56 by Vix. You can get her masks at

Font of your choice. I am using Milagros Script. This is a PTU font.

Animation is by Scrappy Lil Bit of Fun. It is animation #56. You can download it at

Xero Radiance

Drop shadow used throughout:
0 0 100 15.00 black

Let's Begin:
Open paper 5 and shift+D to duplicate.
Close the original.
Promote the background layer to a raster layer.
Make your canvas large enough to work with.
Apply your mask to the paper layer.
Delete the mask layer and merge the group.
Selections select all float and defloat.
Open your tube and copy and paste as a new layer and position within the selected area of the mask.
Selections invert and hit delete. This will clear any excess.
You can hit delete a few times if you want and it will lighten some of the tube.
I hit delete 5 times.
Selections select none.
On the tube layer apply the Xero Radiance plugin using the default settings.
Duplicate the tube layer and go to adjust blur gaussian blur by 6.00
Lower the opacity on the blurred layer to 60
Add a drop shadow to the bottom tube layer and the mask.
Merge these layers visible.
Now lets dress this beauty up with the awesome elements from this kit.
I will list the elements I used.
Placement is completely up to you.
If you want your tag to look like mine then use my tag for reference.

Add your copyright and licensing information.
Crop and lets get ready to animate.
Layers new raster layer and flood fill with white.
Layers arrange and send to the bottom.
Edit copy merged all layers and open animation shop.
Right click and paste as a new animation.
Open your animation and take note of the number of frames in the animation.
If you using the same one as I have then there are 40 frames.
Duplicate your tag to have the same number of frames.
Select all frames in both the tag and the animation.
Grab the first frame of the animation and hold it and drag onto the first frame of your tag.
Get it into position and then let go.
This will move all of the frames onto your tag.
View your animated tag.
If you are happy re-size as needed and save.
