Give Thanks

This tutorial is meant purely as a guide. Feel free to use your own choice of tube or scrap kit to make your tag unique. If you want your tag to look just like mine them use the same supplies I have used. This tutorial assumes you have a knowledge of paint shop pro. Any resemblance to any other tag or tutorial is completely coincidental.

Supplies Used:
Tube of your choice. I am using the work of Alehandra Vanhek. You can purchase this tube at http://scrapsncompany.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=113_499&products_id=24222
The beautiful matching scrap kit is by Starry Night Designs. You can purchase it at http://scrapsncompany.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=24304
Tag Template is by Toxic Desirez. It is template # 352 and you can download it at http://toxicdesirez.blogspot.ca/2015/09/tag-temps-351-354.html
Font of your choice. I am using Yugoslavia. You can download it at http://www.fontspace.com/defharo/yugoslavia
Plugins:
NONE
Drop shadow used throughout:
0 0 100 6.50 black

Let's Begin:
Open your tag template. Shift+D to duplicate. Close the original. Make your canvas large enough to give you plenty of room to work with. You can crop and re-size when you are finished. Remove the following layers from the template:: raster 14, raster 13, copy of raster 13, raster 12, copy of raster 12, raster 9.
Now fill each layer of the template with either papers from the kit, colors of your choice or gradients. Use textures if you would like. Give the tag some depth.
Once you are done add a drop shadow to each layer.
Open your tube and copy and paste as a new layer. Re-size as needed. Center within the template. Add a drop shadow.
Now let’s dress the tag up with elements from the kit. I will list the elements I used. Feel free to use other elements to make your tag unique. Placement of the elements is completely up to you. If you want your tag to look just like mine then use my tag for reference.

Drop shadow used throughout:
0 0 85 9.50 dark brown from the paper

Let's Begin:
Open the tag template and shift+D to duplicate. Close the original. Remove the following layers- raster 12 and raster 1.
On layers raster 8 and copy of raster 8 add noise with the following settings:
Uniform-Monochrome checked and 60%
Fill the rest of the layers except the text with either papers from the kit or colors/gradients of your choice. You may also use textures if you wish.
Once you are done add a drop shadow to each of the layers.
Open your tube and copy and paste as a new layer and center in the middle of the circle in the tag template. Re-size as needed. Add a drop shadow.
Now let’s dress the tag up with elements from the kit. I will list the elements I used. Feel free to use other elements to make your tag unique. Placement of the elements is completely up to you. If you want your tag to look just like mine then use my tag for reference.

Any resemblance to any other tag or tutorial is completely coincidental.
Supplies Used:
Tube of your choice. I am using one by Pinup Toons. I purchased this tube when they were with CILM(which is now closed) but you can purchase their tubes at http://cdoestore.com/
Scrap kit is a freebie add on kit by Manipulated by Magik. It is called Shabby Autumn. You can download it at http://manipulatedbymagik.blogspot.com/2016/09/shabby-autumn-freebie-add-on-kit.html?zx=360c408fd0a908f
Mask is by Rachel Designs. You can download it at https://racheldesignsblog.wordpress.com/2016/10/14/mask-set-132/

Xero Greyscaler
Xero Porcelain
Drop shadow used throughout:
0 0 70 11.00 black

Let's Begin:
Open your tag template and shift+D to duplicate. Close the original. Remove the cr and background layers. Make your canvas large enough to work with.
Fill each layer of the tag template using either papers from the kit, colors of  your choice, gradients of your choice or textures of your choice.
Add a drop shadow to each of the text layers and merge them together.
Add a drop shadow to each of the other layers.
On the center top square of the template selections select all float and defloat. Open your tube and copy and paste as a new layer. Move to far left of the square. Selections invert and hit delete. Selections select none. Apply Xero Greyscaler using the default settings. Apply Xero Porcelain using the default settings. Add a drop shadow. Duplicate. Image flip horizontal and move to the far right side of the square area. Merge these 2 layers together.
Open your tube again and copy and paste as a new layer. Position in the center. Apply the Xero Porcelain filter using the default settings. Add a drop shadow.
Move the wordart/text to the center of the tag.
Open paper 4 and copy and paste as a new layer. Drag to the bottom. Apply the mask of your choice. Delete the mask layer and merge the group. I added a slight drop shadow to the mask to help is stand out a bit .. this is completely up to you.
Now let’s dress the tag up with elements from the kit. I will list the elements I used. Feel free to use other elements to make your tag unique. Placement of the elements is completely up to you. If you want your tag to look just like mine then use my tag for reference.

Supplies Used:

The scrap kit is called Autumn Sweater and is by TagCatz Designs. You can purchase it at http://scrapsncompany.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=112_678&products_id=22769

Font of your choice. I am using Mottona and you can download it at http://www.dafont.com/mottona.font
Plugins:
Xero Radiance
Drop shadow used throughout:
0 0 100 12.00 Black

Let's Begin:
Open element 42 and shift+D to duplicate. Close the original. Make your canvas large enough to work with.  Using your magic wand select the inside of the frame and selections modify and expand by 5. Open paper 1 and copy and paste as a new layer. Drag under the frame. Selections invert and hit delete.
Selections invert again and selections modify and contract by 4. Open your tube and copy and paste as a new layer and position within the frame. Selections invert and hit delete. Selections select none. Apply Xero Radiance using the default settings. Add a drop shadow.
Add a drop shadow to the frame.
Layers new raster layer and drag to the bottom. Apply some brushes of your choice around the outside edges of the frame all the way around.
Now let’s dress the tag up with elements from the kit. I will list the elements I used. Feel free to use other elements to make your tag unique. Placement of the elements is completely up to you. If you want your tag to look just like mine then use my tag for reference.
