Winter Birdie

This tutorial is meant purely as a guide. Feel free to use your own choice of tube or scrap kit to make your tag unique. If you want your tag to look just like mine them use the same supplies I have used. This tutorial assumes you have a knowledge of paint shop pro. Any resemblance to any other tag or tutorial is completely coincidental.

Supplies Used:

Tube of your choice. I am using an adorable tube by Alicia Mujica. It is part of the Winter Owls from 2015. You can purchase this tube at http://aliciamujicadesign.com/es/276-winter-owls-by-alicia-mujica-.html

Remember you must have a license to use Alicia’s artwork.

The scrap kit is a freebie by Pink Paradox Productions. It is called Winter Memory. You can get it at http://pinkparadoxproductions.blogspot.ca/2015/11/stunning-new-verymany-tube-freebie-kit.html

Font of your choice. I am using Bananas. You can download it at http://www.dafont.com/bananas.font

0 0 60 12.50 black

Let's Begin:

Open winter memory frames 6 from the kit. Shift+D to duplicate. Close the original. Re-size the frame as needed. Make your canvas large enough to give you plenty of room to work with.

Using your magic wand select the inside of the frame. Selections modify and expand by 6. Layers new raster layer and drag under the frame. Open paper 18 and copy and paste into selection. Selections select none.

Add a drop shadow to the frame.

Open element 63 and copy and paste as a new layer. Drag to the very bottom. Add the same drop shadow as used before.

Open your tube. Copy and paste as a new layer. Re-size as needed. Place in the center bottom so it appears to be resting on the bottom of the frame at the inside edge. Add the same drop shadow as used before.

Open element 76 from the kit. Copy and paste as a new layer. Re-size as needed. Place at the bottom of the frame to the left side. Drag under your tube and make it so your tube appears to be sitting on it. Add the same drop shadow as before.

Open element 77 from the kit. Copy and paste as a new layer. Re-size as needed. Copy the steps above that you did with element 76. Make sure this element is on top of the previous element. Add the same drop shadow as before.

Open element 84 from the kit. Copy and paste as a new layer. Re-size as needed. Move to the bottom of the tag area and center. Add the same drop shadow as before.

Open element 19 from the kit. Copy and paste as a new layer. Re-size as needed. Place near the top right of the frame to make it look like it is hanging from the frame. Add the same drop shadow as before.

Open element 25 from the kit. Copy and paste as a new layer. Re-size as needed. Place on the left of your tube at the bottom so it is sitting within the branches. Add the same drop shadow as before.

Open element 37 from the kit. Copy and paste as a new layer. Re-size as needed. Image flip horizontal. Drag under the bottle. Place behind the bottle and to the left a bit. Add the same drop shadow as before.

Open element 46 from the kit. Copy and paste as a new layer. Re-size as needed. Place to the far right of the tube. Add the same drop shadow as before.

Open element 42 from the kit. Copy and paste as a new layer. Re-size as needed. Drag under the wheel barrow. Place behind and above the wheel barrow. Add the same drop shadow as before.

Open element 54 from the kit. Copy and paste as a new layer. Re-size as needed. Place over to the left above the bottle and heart. Add the same drop shadow as before. Duplicate this layer. On the top copy image free rotate to the right 20 degrees. Adjust sharpen. Move this copy over to the far right above the bird bath.

Open element 62 from the kit. Copy and paste as a new layer. Re-size as needed. Place along the bottom of your tube and drag down on the layer palette just above your tube so it is under some of the other elements. Add the same drop shadow as before.

Add your name. You can place this wherever you choose. I placed mine on a curve along the top left of the frame. Use whatever colors, gradients, textures or paper from the kit of your choice.

Add your copyright and licensing information.

Crop and re-size if you wish.

Save your tag.
